Immersion-Type Heat Exchanger
CALORPLAST plastic Immersion-Type heat exchangers CALORPLAST plastic Immersion-Type heat exchangers have been setting standards in the heating or cooling of highly concentrated, inorganic acids, high-purity media or aggressive and encrusting liquids for over 40 years. The combination of the unique CALORPLAST module technology with corrosion-resistant engineering plastics results in a compact design with high heat transfer performance. This makes CALORPLAST Immersion-Type heat exchangers reliable companions in all industries where the highest demands are placed on performance and economy. CALORPLAST has been trusted for decades in surface technology, the chemical industry, cooling battery acid and electrolytes, seawater applications and many other sectors. Each Immersion-Type heat exchanger is adapted to the process requirements in a computer-aided simulation and manufactured according to customer specifications. The basic structure consists of many thin-walled tubes, which are joined together to form a module using a patented manufacturing process. These modules can then be welded together, piped and the heating or cooling flows can be switched internally to achieve the highest surface density with the lowest pressure losses. As a result, the transferable output often exceeds comparable metal Immersion-Type heat exchangers in conventional tube or plate design with comparable installation space. The open design of the tube…
Biogas Heat Exchanger
Gas-liquid Heat Exchangers – Evolution Series
Evolution gas-liquid heat exchanger With the Evolution series of gas-liquid heat exchangers, CALORPLAST sets the standard for efficient heat recovery in aggressive and polluted exhaust air environments. Thanks to consistent further development and the use of modern materials and technologies, it has been possible to further increase the efficiency of the gas-liquid heat exchangers in a smaller installation space and to adapt them to current requirements. The modular CALORPLAST concept allows seamless scalability of capacity and performance and can be flexibly adapted to a wide range of requirements. By varying the width and number of heat exchanger elements in height and air direction, both capacity (up to 80,000 m³/h exhaust air volume in one exhaust air line) and performance can be varied and determined according to customer requirements. When used in heat recovery from aggressive or polluted exhaust air in conjunction with a closed-circuit system (CCS), e.g. in surface technology, chemicals, the electronics industry, laboratories in schools, universities, research facilities and similar institutions, the CALORPLAST Evolution heat exchanger achieves heat recovery coefficients that fulfil the Ecodesign Directive 1253/2014 (ErP 2018). The Calorplast Evolution series heat exchanger is integrated into the customer’s AHU as an individual coil, but can also be…
Gas-liquid Heat Exchanger
CALORPLAST gas-liquid heat exchangers CALORPLAST gas-liquid heat exchangers have been the standard in the treatment of aggressive gas flows for over 40 years. Whether for cooling, heating or heat recovery: the unique, patented CALORPLAST technology, together with the design consisting entirely of corrosion-resistant engineering plastics, enables unrivalled efficiency, operational reliability and durability. The modular design of the gas-liquid heat exchangers ensures seamless scalability of capacity and performance and can be flexibly adapted to a wide range of requirements. Gas volume flows from a few hundred to 80,000 m³/h can be realised. This results in a wide range of applications: – in heat recovery in combination with a closed circuit system (CCS) from aggressive or polluted exhaust air, e.g. in surface technology, chemicals, the electronics industry, laboratories in schools, universities, research facilities and similar institutions – for cooling and heating aggressive process and exhaust gases, e.g. in drying technology, chemical metalworking, waste incineration, sewage sludge incineration, for cooling air flows with groundwater, seawater, etc., for cooling biofilters, in ventilation installations for clean room technology and in systems with high hygiene requirements. – as a condenser for aggressive vapours in chemical and pharmaceutical industry and research, drying technology in circulation processes and…
Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger
CALORPLAST shell and tube heat exchangers CALORPLAST shell and tube heat exchangers are external heat exchangers in a classic design that can be used to efficiently heat, cool and condense pure and ultra-pure media. The complete design made of corrosion-resistant engineering plastics and the use of thin-walled tube bundles result in a compact design with a high heat transfer capacity. This makes CALORPLAST shell and tube heat exchangers perfect for all applications where high demands are placed on purity and chemical resistance, e.g. in surface technology, the chemical industry and research, as well as semiconductor technology and seawater aquariums. Each tube bundle heat exchanger consists of a tube bundle made of thin-walled plastic tubes, casing tube and tube sheet plates, which can either be welded or screwed together. Material combinations of different plastics are also possible. Installation at the customer’s premises can be carried out both horizontally and vertically. Thanks to the use of corrosion-resistant plastics, cleaning can be carried out easily using chemical processes, resulting in low operating and maintenance costs. The design is carried out according to customer requirements and is accompanied by a computer-aided simulation. The technical parameters of the tube bundle heat exchanger are determined according…
